

Saturday, October 11, 2014, Robert (Bob) W. Leslie was welcomed at Heaven’s Doors by God. Bob was born June 11, 1940 in Snyder, TX to Woodrow and Pearl (Morton) Leslie. His family moved to Odessa in 1954 where he completed his education. He attended Ector High School, and then joined the Army upon graduation and spent three years proudly serving his country. He spent 18 months in Soul, Korea and started college courses while in the military. He completed his college degree in Management, and was a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, ASNT and IPIA.
After his discharge Bob came home to Odessa where he met and married Loretta Sharp, August 23, 1963. They had three children, Malissa Roach, David Leslie, and Kimberly Robison.
He spent his career working for Oilfield Companies in International Sales, traveling to over 40 countries. Bob loved people and could somehow communicate with most nationalities. He was a true Mr. Fix It; he loved building and repairing anything that needed tools, and there was nothing he couldn’t fix.
Bob was a proud member of Northside Baptist Church, where he loved his church family.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother, Bill Leslie.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Loretta Leslie of Odessa, children, Malissa Roach of Odessa, David and Jonathan Leslie-Quam of Dallas, and Kimberly and Richard Robison of Odessa. Also, 6 grandchildren, Kelli Zermeno, Brandon Cowart, Brittany Ramzel, Shauna Roach, Rebecca Robison, and Nathan Robison, 6 great grandchildren, sister; Wanda Harman of San Antonio and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be at 1pm, Tuesday, October, 14, 2014 at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors Chapel with Reverend Clydel Chapman officiating. Graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
If desired Memorials may be made to Northside Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
