

San Martin ( Marty ) Rios 45 Left this world Tuesday, December 6, 2011 to meet his heavenly Father. He was born February 26, 1966 in Big Spring, Texas, raised in Odessa, and lived in Marble Falls, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother Erlinda Rios, his father Daniel Rios. 2 brothers Fabian Rios, Daniel Rios, and his grandmother Eva Martinez.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Virginia Rios of Kingsland, Texas and his two children Eva E. Rios of Kingsland, Texas, Dallas Rios of Kingsland Texas, grandchildren Noah Anthony, Uziah San Martin. 5 sisters, Pam Rios (Tony) of Odessa, Belinda Barrera of Odessa, Sepharine Bugayong (Ray) of Odessa, Emma Rios Nuger (Richard) of Odessa, Belsa Rios (Orlando) of Crystal City, Texas. 2 brothers: John M. Rios of Odessa, Sonny Rios of Odessa. He also leaves behind 50 nieces and nephews that were a big part of his life.
He worked for Johnson Sewell Ford in Marble Falls for 11 years. For those who knew Marty and for those who didn’t, he was a wonderful man, son, husband, brother, Dad, grandfather, and friend.. He let it be known that he was a “ Die Hard” fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was so inspired by the Dallas Cowboys that he named his son Dallas. His Sunday was based around his grandchildren , wife, family, and his Cowboys. He will be greatly missed by his long life best friend; his wife Virginia Rios but little did she know that he would have her become a die hard Cowboys fan as well. She stood by his side from the beginning to the end. From all of the family we would like to say Thank You for the unselfish love you gave. We would like to give a special Thanks to family and friends who were there during our time of need ... We greatly appreciate it.
We would like to extend our gratitude to his doctors who went above and beyond their duty to take care of him; Dr. Melvin Alu, Dr. Robert Hays, Dr. Doug Mc Donald, & Dr, Crystal Murray.
At his& his family’s request they would like everyone in attendance to be in Dallas Cowboys attire. Visitation will be held today Sunday December 11, 2011 from 1pm -9pm with a Service of Remembrance with open floor thoughts at 7Pm at Odessa Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:00 am at Parkview Church of Christ 1700 Park Blvd. Odessa, Texas Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Odessa Section
