Socorro Renteria

In Our Heavenly Kingdom and in the Arms of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, is to be found our Beloved Mother, and Grandmother Socorro Ramos Renteria, Ms Renteria , passed away Monday September 13,2010 at The Home Hospice House Facility here in Odessa at the age of 84 She was born February 28, 1926 in Valentine, Texas to Juan and Antonia Ybarra Ramos. She was a homemaker and a Christian Catholic. Ms. Renteria was preceded in death by husband; Jesus J. Renteria, sons; Jesus Renteria Jr. and Jose Renteria. She is survived by sons; Manuel Renteria and wife Carmen, David Renteria and wife Cindy, J. B. Renteria , Mark Renteria and wife Mari, all of Odessa, daughters; Maria Yolanda Lopez and husband Fernando, Linda Renteria Martinez of Austin, Texas, Maria Helen Renteria Leon and husband Abel, Creselda Renteria , JoAnn Renteria , Belinda Olivas and husband Poncho, Antonia Olivas and husband Mario all of Odessa , brothers; Manuel and Mary Alice Ramos of Odessa, Carlos and Mary Ramos of Odessa, sister Toni Cabrera of Odessa and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We the Renteria Ramos Family would like to take this time and with a heartfelt embrace thank each end everyone of you for all your Prayers; Floral; Food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. Pallbearers will be David Renteria Jr., Beto Olivas, Matthew Rodriguez, Sammy Martinez Jr., Nolan Leon, Ponch Olivas, Manuel Renteria Jr., Santiago Villanueva, and Abel Leon Jr. A Rosary was recited at 7pm Wednesday September 15,2010 at Odessa Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2pm Today Thursday September 16,2010 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment to follow at Ector County Cemetery Rosehill Section.
