Rest of message, we caught the freight train because the roads were closed and it was one of the worst winters in Tucucari. We had to pivk up mlk and bread. And a few games of pool.  Oops. Ha ha

Valous, I recall our datys in tucunary ,N ew mezixc ans we caught a freight train into town. Both wives ppregant, we alwaus had a good time

Val was a great mentor to me when we worked at Miether's years ago. He was always a good friend with that big smile.We will miss him greatly!

It was sad to read of Valton's passing.  I have wondered for over fifty years about his whereabouts and regretted not being able to sit down and talk of old times.  I have great memories of Valton as a team mate in football and baseball and more importantly as a friend.  Those memories of him are still vivid today and bring a smile whenever I think about him.  I especially remember when he bought the first Vespa motor scooter most of us in Odessa had ever seen.  He was the envy of every motor scooter riding kid in Odessa.  Valton was a gifted athlete, despite his size, and was an easy going kid with a great sense of humor.  I know he will be missed by all who knew him.  My condolences to his family.  You will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
