

Angela Cerella Burke McDonald, 55, of Harrah, Oklahoma Died in Oklahoma City, Ok on February 6, 2026. Angela was born June 22, 1970 in Shawnee, OK. She is the daughter of Edwin Lewis Burke, Richard and Barbara McAroy.
Angela is a 1988 Harrah High School graduate, where she was involved in Cheer, Band, Leo Club, Show Choir , Colorguard, as well as many other academic and social clubs. She attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where she was in Gamma Phi Beta as well as other academic and social groups. While at SWOSU she studied Pharmacy in hopes of eventually becoming a heart surgeon.
Angela accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior before the age of 10 and in her teenage years accepted the Lords call to youth ministry and was dedicated to that calling until the Lord called her home. Angela Served the Lord her whole life, but Proudly claimed the title “Youth Minister” for over 36 years.
Angela met the man that she would fall in love with, call Husband, and have many children with, in the year 1987 when they were both in High School. Michael and Angela got married on December 31, 1990, and have been married for over 35 years as of December 31, 2025. They are proud parents of Timothy and wife Adrienne, Brandon and wife Abigail, Alysha, Christopher, Jeremy and wife Sarah , Dylan and wife Brooke, Stephanie and fiance Kolton, Ashton, Ashlynn, Garrett and girlfriend Heaven. As well as Papi and Nana to Aravis, Kaidon, Adelyn, Harper, Holland, and Finley.
Angela was preceded in death by her Papa and Nana, James Houston and Zethel Cerella Allen; her dad, Edwin Lewis Burke; her sister, Sherry McCreary; her brother-in-law, Scott Kolpin; her sons, Christopher and Ashton; and her daughters, Alysha and Ashlynn. She is survived by her husband, Michael McDonald; Son, Timothy McDonald and wife Adrienne; son, Brandon McDonald and wife Abigail; son, Jeremy McDonald and wife Sarah, Dylan McDonald and wife Brooke; daughter, Stephanie McDonald and Fiance Kolton Elmore; son, Garrett McDonald and girlfriend Heaven Land; grandkids, Aravis and Adelyn McDonald; Kaidon, Harper, and Holland McDonald; Finley McDonald;mother and step-father, Richard and Barbara McAroy, sisters Debbie and husband James Walden; and Kristi Kolpin; brother-in-law Jackie McCreary and wife Hope; Step-sisters Jennifer and Karen; step-brother, Richard Jr.; and many nephews, nieces, one great nephew, and great nieces.
Funeral services will take place Friday, February 13th, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Quail Springs Baptist Church Chapel, 14613 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK 73134 with the Burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery; 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
