Ann was born in Oklahoma City, Ok. She was the daughter of Louise and Barney Woody. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She spent most of her working years as a cafeteria worker for the Oklahoma City Public Schools.
She was a charter member of St. James Catholic Church in Oklahoma City where she participated in many activities supporting the church. She enjoyed genealogy, doing research on family lines was her passion. She was a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) and the UDC (United Daughters of the Confederacy).
She is survived by her 3 children, James McAllister, Barbara Trousdale, Elizabeth Bennett, her grandchildren Kendra Trousdale, Stefanie Myers, Jessicia Nitzel, Zachary Bennett, Shelby Mellinger, Katelynn Mellinger, and 2 great-grandchildren Rowan Stanley and Juliette Myers.
She was preceded in death by her parents Louise and Barney Woody, two husbands Alvie B McAllister and Elmer Howell and three siblings Dorothy Staffa, Bill and Joe Woody. She was the last of her generation.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at 10AM at St. James Catholic Church, 4201 S McKinley Ave, Oklahoma City with internment at Memorial Park Cemetery 13313 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK. The viewing and visitation will be held on Monday October 10, 2022 from 5-7pm.
