Ann was born one of 13 siblings to Oliver and Mabel Shoun in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She married Donald Lee Paxson on February 27, 1954 and they later moved to Oklahoma City. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2004 before he preceded her in death in 2007. Ann dedicated her life to supporting and loving her family. She was a very loving mother and devoted wife and caring sister, always putting others first. Ann is survived by her children Richard Paxson, Rebecca Tingle and husband Jerome, Rhett Paxson and wife Diane, Reese Paxson; grandchildren Jessica Tingle, Hannah Tingle and Audra Pitts; great grandchild Asia Carolina; siblings Rita Shoun, Lorene Wegner, Buddy Shoun, Ila Danskin, F.D. Shoun, and Nancy Humphries as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ann’s funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2013 in the chapel at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors.
