Betty Ruth (VanCuren) Treadwell, 64 year-old resident of Oklahoma City, OK, passed away June 17, 2015 at her home. Born April 24, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Walter Leslie VanCuren and Ruth Virginia (Ambler) VanCuren. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She loved her family, her church, and her dogs. Over the years she had adopted numerous dogs and loved all of them as if they were her children. Survivors include 1 son, Leslie Ray Vaughn of Texas; 1 daughter, Angela Brock Young of Jones, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Billy VanCuren (Her Twin Brother) of Harrah, Oklahoma; Gary VanCuren; and Donald VanCuren; 2 sisters, Theresa Rodriguez; and Rhonda O’Shea; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She will be loved and missed by all. Private family services will be held at a later date.
