Beverly was born August 20, 1938, in Lindsay, Oklahoma to the late Woody and Gladys Busbee. Beverly grew up in south OKC, attending Capitol Hill High School where she met the love of her life, Thurston.
Thurston and Beverly were married in August of 1955. They both were avid OU football fans and loved to travel. Beverly worked for Sears for 40 years. Both Beverly and Thurston were members of Crossings Church. Beverly’s infectious smile and hugs will be missed by many.
Beverly is survived by her husband Thurston, life long friends Buddy and Joy Rogers, and Bill and Teri Putnam.
A visitation for Beverly will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK 731161298. A graveside service will occur Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Resthaven OKC Cemetery, 500 SW 104th St, Oklahoma City, OK 73139.
