Blanche E. Watson, 89, passed away November 9, 2010 in Highland Village, Texas. She was born November 28, 1920 in Barnsdall, Oklahoma to George W. and Maime (O’Keefe) Graham. Blanche attained a Masters degree in Education and worked as a Principal at Christian Heritage Academy. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Baptist Church. Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Glendon O. Watson; and her son, Gary Watson. She is survived by her sons, Bob Watson, Ron Watson and his wife, Kathleen, Rick Watson and his wife, Candis, and Ken Watson and his wife, Irene; 7 grandchildren, Grant, Gwendolyn, Joseph, Abby, Austin, Taylor, and Ryan; and a host of other loving family members and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening. Donations may be made in Blanche’s memory to Trinity Baptist Church.
