Bryce Patrick Chandler

Bryce Patrick Chandler, 28, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed quietly and unexpectedly in his home on September 11, 2015. Bryce was born in Naples, Florida on January 28, 1987 and moved to the Oklahoma City metro area as a young child to later attend Edmond schools and Graduate from Edmond Memorial High School. A bachelor’s degree was earned by Bryce from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009. Bryce dreamt of being an entrepreneur; some of his recent endeavors included GrassRootz Art and GrassRootz Photo. He greatly enjoyed photography, diving, snow skiing, wakeboarding, boating, rock climbing, paintball and many other adventurous activities throughout his life. One of Bryce’s favorite pastimes was to travel to, and enjoy being a videographer and photographer at numerous concerts and festivals. Some of Bryce’s most treasured travels included Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, South Korea, Belize, St. Lucia, and many more exotic destinations. Bryce had a distinct fascination and passion for the arts. Movies, music, and fine art gave him both drive and pleasure, as did helping others. Bryce had an extremely unique and contagious sense of humor; always trying to brighten and enlighten those around him. His generous, kind spirit will be greatly missed and never forgotten by his many, many friends and loved ones, and all whom had the opportunity to encounter him in his life journey.

Bryce is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Kathleen Chandler; his brother, Brandon Allen Chandler; Grandparents Norman and Judy Deffner, and Dale and Betty Chandler; his Aunts and Uncles, Rhonda and David Price, Rick and Sandy Chandler, Laurie and Charlie Johnson, Tim Deffner, and Greg Deffner; his cousins Kayla and Kelly Knipfer, Jake, Ben, and Patrick Deffner, Emily Deffner, Cassie, Christina, and Colby Chandler, Jason, Jeremy, and Jacey Price; his nieces and nephew Ashton Chandler, Nevaeh, and Mataly; his sister in law, Alycea Chandler; his ex-sister in law, Lauren Chandler; his girlfriend Heather Joy McKeever and her loving family, Dave, Suzi, and Wes McKeever. Bryce was preceded in death by his father, Randy Dale Chandler.
