Catherine Lorena Youmans

Catherine (Cathy) Lorena Youmans of Yukon, Oklahoma, went to her heavenly home to be with Jesus on April 5th, 2026, Easter Sunday. She was born on May 25, 1932 in Cottrellville township, Marine City, Michigan, to Frances Marie and William Earl Spicer.

She married Gerald Burton Youmans I, on August 24, 1962. They lived a military lifestyle of traveling to several different countries and lived In several different cities to end up planting their roots in Piedmont Oklahoma. Cathy was a stay at home mom until her children were grown and then she worked for Mercy Hospital in the physical therapy department and retired after about 25 years.

Catherine is preceded in death by her Parents, William Earl and Frances Marie Spicer. Husband, Gerald Burton Youmans I, Brothers, William and John Spicer.

Her memory will be cherished as she leaves behind her children, Fran Williams, spouse John Mark of Dallas Texas, Becky Avant, spouse Micky of Yukon Oklahoma, Ruth Hurst, spouse Derek, Edmond Oklahoma and Gerald Burton Youmans II of Yukon Oklahoma, grandchildren, Mason Avant, Jameson Williams, Brendan Williams, Andrew Hurst, Ellie Hurst, Mary Hurst, and great granddaughter Ripley Kate Williams.

A funeral service in honor of Cathy will be on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at 10:00 am. Chapel Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8701 Northwest Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162.
