

City and died suddenly of an aneurism on September 1, 201 1. Charles was a veteran of
the US Air Force and a graduate, cum laude, of Central State University, Edmond.
Charles is survived by his wife of 36 years, Brenda; four children: Charles Hooper III
and wife Kristen, granddaughter Raley and grandson Charles Hooper IV; daughter
Rebekah Hooper and husband David Smith; son Bruce J.D. Hooper; and son Matthew J.
Hooper; also survived by his father Charles Hooper Sr., sister Linda Hooper Spotts,
brothers: Dwight and Robert Hooper. Charles was preceded in death by his mother,
Dora Hooper.
Charles also leaves behind his beloved co-workers and friends at the City of Nichols
Hills, where he worked for twenty-nine years. An avid golfer for most of his life,
Charles is also survived by his regular golf buddies and the staff at Coffee Creek
Golf Club in Edmond.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma or Emanuel
Synagogue.
The family will receive guests at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Directors on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Rose Hill Burial Park.
