

Charles Robert Price, born on September 4, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, peacefully passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 82. He was the son of Horace Robert Price and Nettie Penelope Price (Ross). A proud graduate of Star Spencer High School, Charles went on to serve his country with honor in the Army National Guard. Throughout his life, Charles remained a man of service and kindness. Known for his deep appreciation of music, Charles could often be found listening to his favorite Blues, Pop, Soul, and Country songs. He found joy in the simple pleasures of relaxing at home, spending time with family, and tinkering in his garage, especially with his Cadillacs. Charles was also a volunteer at the Oklahoma Railway Museum, a place that brought him great happiness and connection. Whether sharing a laugh over a favorite comedy show or telling one of his many “remember when stories”, Charles had a gift for making others smile. He will be remembered for his honesty and willingness to help others. Charles never judged, always cared, and cherished his time with those he loved. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Nettie Price, and his brother, Don Edward Price. He is survived by one niece, three nephews, and other family and friends.
A funeral service for Charles will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Oklahoma Railway Museum, 3400 NE Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73111. Following the funeral service will be a burial at Chapel Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 8701 Northwest Expy, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
