

Clara Velma Marshall, 84, of Nicoma Park, OK took her place in Heaven on June 28, 2014. She was born in Garden Grove, CA on February 22, 1930 to Ralph & Clara (Loomis) Siegle. She married Steven Marshall on June 1, 1947. Velma was an amazing mother, grandmother (Granny), great and great-great grandmother. She loved to crochet, work Sudoku puzzles, and was the queen of garage sales. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She loved telling jokes and always had time for them. Granny was patient and kind. Velma was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Leonard Siegle; daughter, Nonnie Kay Gordon; three grandsons, John Perkins and Chad & Brad Arnold; and the love of her life, her husband Steven Homer Marshall, of 62 years. She is survived by 2 sisters, Doris Jereb and Lola Kontz of Michigan; sons, Darrell Marshall & wife Karen of Edmond, OK, Leonard Marshall of Nicoma Park, OK, and a daughter, Ramona Marshall of Nicoma Park, OK; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Services to celebrate Velma’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Nicoma Park with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Choctaw, OK.
