Carter, Clarence Russell, age 92 of Midwest City, OK passed away at his home March 26, 2012. He was born January 21, 1920 in Drumright, OK to Milton Harvey and Della Mae (Covington) Carter. He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945. He worked in construction as a roofer for many years and also worked as a butcher for 18 years. He was a minister at General Assembly and Church of the First Born. He enjoyed reading the Bible and sharing the Bible with others. His parents; his wife, Norma; one daughter, Leela Grindle; one son, Gary Carter; grandson, Russell Lynn Smith; six brothers and one sister all have preceded him in death. Survivors include one son, David Russell Carter of Lincoln County; eight grandchildren; and many other great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren and numerous friends and loved ones.
