Cruz Perez

Cruz Perez, born April 5, 1953, entered eternal rest on January 24, 2025. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Cruz leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. He is survived by his two sons, daughter, two sisters, many grandchildren—including five whom he lovingly raised as his own—and several great-grandchildren. He cherished the opportunity to be a father again to his five grandchildren, pouring his heart into their lives and ensuring they were surrounded by love and care.

Cruz had a servant’s heart and a deep love for the Lord. He faithfully ensured his grandchildren made it to school each morning and to church every Sunday, worshiping together with their church family. He spent his time blessing others, serving in his community, and loving on the less fortunate. Cruz brought joy and kindness to everyone he met, welcoming people from all backgrounds with unconditional love.

Through every connection he made, Cruz always pointed others to the cross—the one who redeemed and transformed his life. Deeply loved by his family, friends, and church, Cruz will be dearly missed, forever loved, and always remembered.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at The Vine Community Church, 37th and N. Western. A graveside will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hill Burial Park.
