Cynthia Mae Jones

Cynthia “Cindy” Mae Jones went home to the Lord on November 26 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Cindy was born on October 8, 1946 in South Milwaukee, WI, to George and Dorothy (Kolstad) Konn. She married the love of her life, Michael A. Jones, on July 16, 1966. They lived in California for a few years before settling in Yukon, Oklahoma in 1972. Cindy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Cindy always had a heart and passion for her grandchildren. You could often find her playing with them, or sharing her creativity by making crafts with them. She always gave so much of herself to her family and was the happiest when surrounded by them. She loved to scrapbook, crochet, craft, travel with her husband, and give gifts to those she loved. All who knew her will miss her beautiful smile, vibrant personality, and fun-loving spirit. Cindy is survived by her husband: Michael A. Jones; her sons: Mark and his wife Darcy from Sanger, TX; Greg and his wife Cynthia from Dallas, TX; Corey and his wife Julie from Ennis, TX; her stepson: Michael Barkdull and his wife Kimberly from Sand Springs, OK; her sisters: Kristina D. Coombe from Newport Beach, CA and Megan Reilly from Milwaukee, WI; plus 20 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her father, George Konn, and her mother, Dorothy (Kolstad) Konn. The family will receive guests from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, November 30th, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 Northwest Expy. The funeral service will be held at West Metro Church of Christ, 4900 S.
