David was a graduate of Midwest City High School, class of 1973. After graduating he went on to work at Oklahoma Natural Gas for 37 years. David was an avid OU football fan, rarely, if ever missing a game. He loved attending the games with his daughter Jennifer, his friend Keith, and his cousins Glen and Darryl. He enjoyed watching his daughter grow up playing sports, but his most love of sports was watching his grandson Keaton play baseball and basketball. He also enjoyed reading with his granddaughter Teagan and watching her artistic side develop. He was "Papa David" to his grandchildren and they loved entertaining and caring for him during his final months. David also enjoyed spending time with his sister Debbie, niece Candance, great nephews Tim and Gabe and great niece Cora. Another thing he enjoyed was breakfast outings on the weekend with his friend Dwayne.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Wilma Gorham. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Lee; his two grandchildren, Keaton and Teagan Lee; sister, Debbie Bratcher; niece, Candance Lupin and husband, John Lupin; uncle and aunt, Uyless and Cathy Johnson; cousins, Glen Johnson, Darryl and wife, Susan Johnson, Sherrie and husband John Greenroyd, Jerry Villarma, Kenny Grove, Karen Grove, along with many other cousins and great nephews and a great niece.
