Irene was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant brother, and older sister. She is survived by her twin sister, Ilene Geisler, a host of nieces and nephews that were as special to her as she was to them, her many dear friends, and her cat Lucy. The love and compassion that she had for people was equally shared with her animals. She was a selfless, giving, and loving person. Irene was always there when you needed her.
