

Our Father passed away September 18, 2013 of natural causes. He was born August 26, 1937 in Marlin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his Father W.T. Cohn, his Mother Ruth Cohn, his Son Donald Neal Cohn, Jr, and his Grandsons Phillip Thomas Cohn and Jordan Cohn Sutherland. He is survived by his Son Timothy Cohn and wife Brooke T. Cohn and their children, William, Edward and Victoria Cohn of Nichols Hills, his Daughter Kaye Cohn of Oklahoma City, his Daughter Dr. Michell Cohn, her husband Joe Sutherland and their children Cooper and Jadyn of Edmond, his Son Zachary Cohn and his wife Dr. Carrie Boston of Prosper, TX, Sister Virginia Lake and her children Gina, LeAnna and Doug of Universal City TX, and his dear friend Kathleen Oliver of Oklahoma City.
He was a beloved Father and family man who dearly loved all of his children and grandchildren.
He was a longtime Oklahoma City resident and a former Midwest City Bomber, and attended Northern Oklahoma College on a football scholarship.
Don was an accomplished businessman who spent the majority of his career in the real estate industry. Don was a home builder in Oklahoma City and real estate developer in Oklahoma City, Midwest City and Moore. He was proud of his most recent endeavor, creating "The Five Suggestions App".
For the past twenty-one years Don was an integral member of the recovery community in Oklahoma City. Recovery was his calling, and he gave his time and energy to people from all walks of life, including the numerous men he sponsored over the years. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his loving and steady demeanor, his sense of humor, and his dedication to helping others not yet ready to help themselves. The many lives he touched will be his legacy.
His final wish was for his body to be donated to the Willed Body Program at the Oklahoma University Health Science Center. A celebration of his life will be held Monday the 23rd of September at 1:00pm at Crossings Community Church.
