Doris Jean Lorette, 87, of Oklahoma City, OK, passed peacefully from this life on May 23, 2021. A visitation for Doris will be held Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Service. The funeral service be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM, with internment to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City, OK. Doris J Lorette, 87 passed away on May 23 in OKC. She was the widow of Joe Lorette. They shared 44 years together. Born in Oklahoma City, OK, she was the daughter of Hal and Dora Grammer Hardeman. She worked for Oklahoma Public Schools at Stand Watie, Jackson and Webster Middle Schools until she retired at the age of 71. She is survived by 2 daughters: Jinni Pope and Renee Lorette (husband Philip Warner); son Tony Lorette; three grandchildren: Shane Clark (wife Heather); Georgia Lorette-Warner and Russell Lorette-Warner; one great granddaughter, Adryana Clark; One brother Melvin Hardeman; one sister Elwanda Saylor; brother-in-law Jack Lorett and 2 sisters-in-law: Donna Hardeman and Twyler Hardeman. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Lorette; son Russell Lorette and daughter Susan Lorette. The funeral service will be held Friday, May 28th at 2pm at Advantage Funeral Home, 7720 S. Penn in OKC, with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery in Del City. Viewing and visitation will be Thursday, May 27th from 12pm to 8pm.
