Edna Mae Bowers, 96 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away May 15, 2011 in Del City, Oklahoma. Born February 2, 1915 in Davenport, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Luther Monroe Cupp and Florence Waters Cupp. She loved teaching in her Church and her family. She taught Bible Study, Sunday School, and was active in her Church. Survivors include 1 daughter, Betty Dyer of Choctaw, Oklahoma; 1 nephew, whom she had raised as a son, David Simpson OF Newcastle, Oklahoma; 3 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 sister, Edith Goodson of California. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
