Brother Gene was faithful to help and tenderly care for the brethren, many times sitting up at night with the sick.  His precious gift of "encouraging others" in the faith was a sweet-smelling ointment that spread far and wide.  We experienced this encouragement many times.  He taught us many, good lessons in the faith for which we are truly thankful. We love him and he will live on in our memories. 

Brother Gene and Sister Barbara have been a blessing to our church family and many others.

Brother Gene was always willing and freely shared the faith with all those he came in contact with.  He loved telling the stories that led to, helped other live for, and praise God.  His experiences and God's blessings helped spread God to many.  He never had a bad word to speak about anyone.  His was a life well spent in the service to God, brethren, and family. I learned to love him when I was only a child.  God bless his wife and family.
