

Frank Burton Cook Jr., a loving Christian father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed this life to his reward in Heaven on December 6, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma. Frank was born in Moberly, Missouri on April 16, 1929 to Frank B. Cook Sr. and Jo Ella Woodson Cook. He was a 32nd Degree Mason with the Midwest City Masonic Lodge #532.
He married Sally Josephine McCall on September 3, 1949 at the Base Chapel on Forbes Air Force Base south of Topeka, Kansas. Frank enjoyed repairing just about anything with an engine. He also enjoyed building sheds, boating, travelling, fishing and reading.
He served 35 years in the Air Force and Army Reserves and retired as Master Sergeant in 1984. He also retired from Federal Civil Service at Tinker Air Force Base after 35 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank B. Cook Sr. and Jo Ella Woodson Cook, his brothers James Preston Cook and Gerald Lee Cook, and son Timothy Wayne Cook.
Frank is survived by his wife Sally Cook of Shawnee, his son Rodney and wife Barbara Cook of Oklahoma City, and two daughters; Debra Vowell and husband Butch of Shawnee and Marcy Potts and husband Bob of Chandler; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 12:00 noon until 4 pm. Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 10am at Arlington Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City.
