George will forever be remembered by his family in Ohio: sisters Dorothy Choate and husband, Bill, Madeline Schlosser, and Anna Sever, and numerous nieces and nephews.
George was a U.S. Marine who served in the Korean War. He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. He had a great sense of humor, and loved to joke and tease his family and friends. He loved his wife and family, and was so proud of all of them. He bragged about all of them way too much. He will be deeply missed.
We would like to thank everyone who took such great care of him at the V.A. Center in Norman, OK.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, American Cancer Society, or an organization that helps those who have served in the military.
A service to celebrate George's life will be 10 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with military honors.
