So sorry to hear this news today..I will always remember George for his kind heart and that Big smile of his.  Jerry thought so much of George ..I remember George telling me that Jerry was family..I loved that...I know he will be truly missed..my heart and prayers are with all the family.

   The last time I saw you all was at Sam's, we both had dog food. I always smile when I'm around George.

George and Mariana have been our neighbors for over 30 years.  We raised our family's on that curvy country lane west of Piedmont.  George would always say I love this place.... quite, beautiful and just a awesome spot to raise a family...…., we are lucky to be here.    

George was always smiling and added his boisterous laugh to the end of most sentences.   George was casual.  He was not out to try impress you with city slicker clothes but instead was happy wearing a oversize T-shirt, shorts and crocs.  He would always brag on his kids, grandkids and the fish Mariana caught last week at the lake.

I remember one summer big George and Darrel stopped by on the side by side.  George and I visited out front when Darrel came around the corner crying.  George said Hey, what's wrong.... ?....with great concern.  Darrel said I got bit by a bunch of wasps...!  George said come here and I'll make it better....  George put his dip on each bite.... He gave Darrel a big hug and said your better now..... right...?  That was George, always there for his kids.

I will miss our occasional visits about high school football, hunting, politics, the roads, and how there were not made to corrects specs, and our family's current events.  My condolences to Mariana the the rest of the Burns family.  George was a "strong" man with a "teddy bear" heart to all who needed him.  I will miss you my friend.

We loved having George as a lake neighbor.  His quick-witted humor would keep us entertained for hours.  The way he told a joke with his tight-lipped mannerism was second to none.  Also, we sure could put away the smoked barbeque bologna!  We will always remember you and keep you in our hearts George Burns!

George was a true friend and a pillar of kindness.  George, and the Burns Family, were a blessing to have with me during a very difficult time after the passing of my brother Rod in late 2022. I am very sorry to here of George passing away. I have very fond memory's  of E.L.,Larry, and George when I worked for Standard Testing and  Burgess Eng.  Spent many years testing their asphalt and streets. My condolences to the family a great guy is gone.








George didn’t have to tell me I was his favorite nurse just like I didn’t have to tell him he was my favorite patient. I will sincerely miss George and his visits that he used to practice his stand up routine. He really cracked himself up. My last time seeing George, he had the biggest smile while showing me pictures of his precious new grand baby. He was the epitome of a proud grandpa that day. Condolences to his entire family, I know without a doubt that his big personality is going to missed by all.
