Glenda Lucile (Prisock) Heaney

Glenda Lucile (Prisock) Heaney, age 73, of Tuttle, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 with her loving family by her side. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral Service of OKC and a graveside service for Glenda will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th St in Oklahoma City.

Glenda was born November 26, 1946 in Meridian, Mississippi to Mary Lois (Myers) Prisock and Milton Arnold Prisock. She later moved to Jones, OK where she graduated from Jones High School in 1965. She married Ralph Eugene McGill in 1967 and had two children: Robert and Connie McGill. In 1980, she married Arthur Heaney and they spent 31wonderful years together. In the mid 1980’s Glenda joined Art on the road as a truck driver and they were quite a team. They both retired in the late 1990’s due to Art’s failing health. Sadly, Art Heaney passed away in 2011.

Glenda was a kind and generous woman who enjoyed life and loved to do sewing projects. The two cornerstones of her life were her faith and her family. She was a member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Newcastle where she loved to sing in the choir. Glenda enjoyed cooking meals for her family and she was never happier than when she was surrounded by her kids and grandkids. Glenda Heaney made an unmistakable mark on the lives of those around her and she will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Art Heaney; her mother Mary Lois (Myers) Jasper, step-father C.W. “Bill” Jasper and her father Milton Arnold Prisock; a sister Sylvia Shatswell, a brother Billy Jasper; and an infant brother Ted Delane Prisock.

She is survived by her two children: Robert McGill and Connie Abner and husband Brent; five grandchildren: Brittany, Heather, Ryan, Dylan, and Nolan; six great grandchildren; seven siblings: Pat Roe, Larry Jasper, Kathy Pearman, Carolyn Thomas, Evelyn Carson, Mary Ann Black, and Wayne Prisock; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
