Born March 10, 1931, in Bristow, OK, to Logan and Martha Atteberry. Glenn was the oldest of three boys and attended St. Joseph’s High School in OKC where he met and married his wife of 58 years.
He was a United States Army veteran and graduate of Oklahoma City University. He enjoyed a 36-year career with Southwestern Bell/AT&T. Glenn and wife Marjorie resided in Oklahoma City where they raised four children.
Upon retirement, Glenn and Marge lived at Lake Eufaula where he spent time as a volunteer firefighter. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a lifelong avid hunter and fisherman.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, wife Marjorie, daughter Valerie and brother William. He is survived by his brother, Gerald, of Berlin, MD, children: Ramona Collins of OKC, Elizabeth Parks and husband Rich of Edmond, Paul Atteberry and wife Yesenia of McKinney TX. Grandchildren: Nathan Fisher and wife Sommer, Annie Brooks and husband Ryan, Madison Parks, Nicholas Atteberry & Natalie Atteberry. Great Grandchildren: Saylor, Sam & Evie Brooks, and Madden Parks.
A funeral Mass will take place 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church followed by interment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK.
