

Baker, Harriet W., 90, died Friday September 9th, 2011. Harriet Anne Norma Williams was born in Sharon, OK, November 4th, 1920, to E.P. and Emma Williams. She spent her childhood in Sharon until her family moved to Woodward where she graduated from high school. Harriet studied Art at University of Oklahoma prior to marrying Harold Baker on December 29th, 1941. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jane Davis and brother Paul Williams. She is survived by her sister Mary Lou Enlow and daughters Emily and husband Dr. Kerry Cranmer and Sarah and husband Charles Simpson. Harriet is also survived by granddaughters Amy Pearsons, Erin and husband Tyler Johnson, Anna and husband Todd Rosenthal and Laurie and husband Chris Dunning. Her surviving great grandchildren are Emmeline, Elizabella, Emelia Grace and Emerson Johnson; Eli Rosenthal and Luke Dunning; as well as several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. She lived in Woodward until she moved to Oklahoma City in 1984. Her passions in life were God, family, art, travel and cooking. She loved politics, reading, and occasionally she enjoyed catching an OU game. Harriet left a legacy of love, and a life of commitment to prayer, not only for her family, but for all who knew her. Harriet lived 90 glorious, joyful years. Service 10 a.m., Wednesday, Hahn Cook Street and Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City.
