Hilda Lee Putnam was born in Lafayette, TN and passed away in OKC. She has been a resident of OKC since 1941 and was a 1948 graduate of Putnam City High School. She was involved in the alumni association for many years. She loved flowers and gardening and was a charter member of Redbud Garden Club. She was a beautiful lady and never met a stranger or an animal that she did not care for. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.G. and Ellie Cook; her husband of 34 years, Bob Anneler and her son, Keith Anneler. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Don Putnam; children, Ronna Anneler, Steve Anneler and wife Julie, Jan Boyce and husband Randy; daughter-in-law, Linda Anneler; grandchildren; Heather Tabor, Jason Jones and Ashley Karimian; great grandchildren, Jessica Tabor, Shalen and Brendan Jones, Reese Smalley and Tristan McKinnon; sisters, Donna Frakes and Wilma Smith; and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, Dec. 5 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and burial following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
