Ima Ruth Hardwick was born May 29, 1929 in Dallas, Texas. She was joined in matrimony to her one true love, John Franklin Johnson on November 21, 1942. The family moved to Oklahoma City in July of 1962. She was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ for 50 years. She has three surviving children, John Hardwick Johnson, Judy Strealy Coffman, and Janice Johnson Hall. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Ima loved to entertain. She loved beautiful things from clothing to antiques, but most of all, she loved God and followed faithfully in His footsteps. She taught us all grace, love and to always be thankful for our many blessings.
