

Ima Jewel Jones, 83 year-old resident of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, passed away June 9, 2016 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Born April 24, 1933 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Frank Brantley and Mollie (Horrell) Brantley. Ima was a longtime employee at Tinker Air Force Base and retired as a supervisor. She loved her family and enjoyed working on the ranch raising cattle with her husband Jesse. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Jesse Jones; 1 son, Danny Floyd Jones; 1 sister, Stella Williams; and 1 brother who died as a young child. Survivors include 1 daughter, Kathy and her husband Alan Parker of Guthrie, Oklahoma; 3 grandchildren, Amanda (Chad) McCray; David (Tara) Jones; and Andrea Mantooth; 3 great-grandchildren, Greyson; Dani; and Claire; 1 sister, Bonnie Orman; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2016 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141 with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
