James is survived by his daughters, Cindy Hampton, Linda Wood and husband, Jack Cox, and Pamela Wood; sister, Mary Trammel; grandchildren, James Hampton and wife Kendra, Brain Hampton and wife, Alyla, Michael Singley, Jennifer Singley and Bonnie Espinoza and husband, Tino; great grandchildren, Layla Hampton and Marshal Hampton is expected later this year.
James is preceded in death by his wife, Judy Wood; parents, Martin and Mary; brothers, Jack Gabbert and Marion Wood; sister, Kathy Shoemake.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any of the following charities Alzheimer and Dementia Association, Breast Cancer Foundation, or the National Kidney Foundation in James’ name.
Visitation for James will be on Saturday, July 12,2025 from 12pm to 2 pm at Advantage Funeral Home Chapel. Services will follow visitation at 2 pm. Interment will be at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK.
