Jefferson O’Neil Jones, 63 year-old resident of Del City, OK, passed away September 12, 2014 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born July 22, 1951 in Oklahoma City, OK, he was the son of Earl O’Neil Jones and Jessie Mae Bradley Jones. Jefferson was a Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was extremely proud to have been a Marine. He loved to shoot all types of guns and collected guns; loved to assemble Military Models spending hours on each one; loved animals; and was a member of the D.A.V. Survivors include his brother, Creig and his wife Pam Jones of Moore, OK; 1 sister, Linda and her husband Steve Ogle of Del City, OK; 1 niece, Melissa and her husband Phillip Palmer; 1 nephew, Terry and his wife Stephanie Jones; and 5 great nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK, with burial following Military Honors rendered the U. S. Marine Corp Honors Detail.
