

Jim B. Trout, Born April 5, 1923 in Kitty Quail, Texas to Mamie Rose and Bud Trout. Jim lived with his dad for his first eight years; he then lived with his mother until he left home at 16. He married Beulah A. Street on May 1, 1942. Theirs was a true love story that lasted 59 years and 8 months. They built Alliance Plumbing & Heating into a successful business that they operated for 38 years. Jim had many passions in his life. He loved golf and the inevitable gin game that followed, traveling all over the world, working in his garden, dancing with his “doll”, but most of all he was passionate about OU football. They not only followed the team but they organized trips for their friends to follow the team also. Jim is preceded in death by his wife, Beulah and both of his parents. He is survived by daughter Bobbie Brown, son-in-law Gary Brown, son Keith Trout, grandsons Keiffer Trout and Todd Brown, and granddaughter Tori Blake, 8 great grandchildren, Madison, Joshua, Noah and Jadyn Blake, Cole and Ella Brown, and Kayden and Conner Trout. A very special thank you to his caregivers, Helen, Ruth, Jamie, Rodessa and Kayi. Also to Sooner Hospice for the extraordinary loving care that he received over the past four years. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 12, at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 11, from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.
