In Loving Memory of JoAnn Cummins
JoAnn Cummins, age 81, passed away on April 13, 2026, in Choctaw, Oklahoma. JoAnn retired from Midwest City Hospital as a pharmacy technician after 26 years of devoted service. She loved being outdoors—doing yard work, visiting the lake, and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
Her favorite pastimes included shopping at Walmart, enjoying Mexican food, and looking forward to Catfish Friday.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her father, Bill Walton; her mother, Ethel Walton; her husband, Al Cummins; her sisters, Pat Howard and Erma D’Angelo; and her brothers, Harold and Leon Walton.
She is survived by her children: two daughters, Donnie Jo and her husband Stephen Lewis, and Candy Roper and her husband Richard Roper; and two sons, Isaac and his wife Kimmy Sue Bruno, and Drew and his wife Kim Cummins.
She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren: Tomi Jo Dyer, Kacey Hanson, Chelsea Lewis, Eliu Vigil, Seth Isaac Bruno, Kaleb Elias Bruno, Aden Bruno, Aislyn Rose, Triston Rose, Sean Mitchell, Jeremy Roper, Charles Roper, and CJ Roper; and her 16 great grandchildren: Harli Dyer, Jaidyn Dyer, Hailey Dyer, Ryer Hanson, Griffin Hanson, Collier Hanson, Scarlett Vigil, Abel Vigil, Alexandra McCaslin, Asher Lewis, Ryan Mitchell, Charley Roper, Abigail Roper, Allison Roper, Emmaline Roper, and Madison Roper, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
