Joseph Patrick Hord Hammond, 71, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died in Olathe, Kansas on November 29, 2014. Pat was born on December 24, 1942 to Nadine Steward and Robert Waller Hord in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated with a B. S. Degree from Midwestern University in Wichita Falls and was a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Order. He is survived by his wife, Jane, of 32 years, children Melissa Wiech and Jacob Clark, brother Richard Timothy Hord, 3 grandchildren, and 5 nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Hahn Cook, 6600 N. Broadway Extension. Donations may also be made to the Kappa Alpha Order Educational Foundation, KAOEF, P. O.
