Kathy passed away Friday, the 24th surrounded by her family. She was born in Alva, OK, to Wayde H. and Erma Lee Lyon. Kathy graduated from Alva High School in 1960. Her best assignment in life was raising her children and being a “Meme”.
She married Bob Rust and they raised two beautiful children she was very proud of. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bob.
She is survived by her son, Mike Rust and his wife, Vicki; daughter Cari Smith; grandchildren, Cory and Christian; sisters, Jo Lohmann and Sondra Castillo and husband Bill, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel with entombment at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
