Kitty Lou Ogburn

Kitty Lou Ogburn passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 in Oklahoma City at age 93. She was born December 5, 1930 in Healdton, OK to Charles and Willie White. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Dorthy Jane, brother Charles Ray, brother-in-law Jerry, and her husband of 58 years Wilburn.

She is survived by her son, Carl (Kara) of Lone Grove, daughter, Jane (Rocky) of Oklahoma City, granddaughter, Dawn (Lateef) of Oklahoma City, grandson, Casey (Stacy) of Yukon, great-grandchildren, Aaron and Ping of Oklahoma City, Sean of Lone Grove, Jilly and Molly of Yukon, great-great grandchildren, Lyric and Hendryx of Oklahoma City. She loved all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and all others that she was known as “Nanny”.

She loved having all the family and friends over to celebrate holidays, birthdays and any other get togethers.

Kitty loved her church and joined Crown Heights United Methodist Church on October 19, 1980. Kitty was also a devoted member of Amity Circle and UMW.

She also enjoyed cooking for mobile meals.

A Viewing will be Tuesday, September 3, 2024, from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Ext. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 10:00 am at Crown Heights Methodist Church, 1021 NW 37th St, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73118. Graveside services will be held in Healdton, Oklahoma at Mt. Olive Cemetery at 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crown Heights United Methodist Church.
