Larry Wayne Day

The son of Andrew Winn and Eleanor Schultz. Larry was born on Dec. 14, 1946 in Los Angeles,

CA.

Larry graduated from Narbonne High in 1965 and then joined the U.S. Air Force. After being

stationed in the Philippines, he was stationed at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. While

there, he met his future wife and best friend, Sylvia Fritz. They were married on Dec. 21, 1968

and had 3 children.

Larry had many hobbies. He loved to paint and play guitar. He also loved to entertain and

mystify his family and friends with magic tricks. He never met a stranger and made it a point to

make everyone feel welcome and loved. He would help anyone in need with a smile on his face.

He also loved to make everyone laugh with his jokes. He will be dearly missed by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Winn, mother, Eleanor Schultz, brothers, Myron

Day, Levall Day, Jerry Fritz, Gary Fritz and Mickey Fritz and his sisters, Donna Rinks, Allie Mae

Hyde, Sue Stuart and Noma Molner.

Larry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sylvia Day, his sons, Randy Day and Jason Day, his

daughter, Aimee Stutzman, grandchildren, Christopher Stutzman, Jayden Johnson and Jaycee

Johnson as well as numerous other family members including sisters in law, nieces and

nephews.

A memorial service will be held at their family home in Choctaw, Ok on Saturday, April 22, 2023

at 3:00 p.m.
