

Juanita Lucille Wheeler was born May 14, 1938 and passed from this life on Tuesday June 4th 2019. She is preceded in death by her Father Raymond Edward Williams and her mother Albert Arvil Williams. Those that will carry her legacy are her sisters Vada King of Texas, Phyllis Denney of Oklahoma, Susan Wills of Oklahoma and brothers Melvin Williams of Pennsylvania, and Clearance Williams of New York. Lucille also leaves behind her husband of 53 years Eddie Wheeler, daughter Starla Henderson and husband Allan Henderson of Moore Oklahoma and son Thurman Wheeler of Moore Oklahoma. Lucille was blessed with six grandkids; Blake Henderson, Collin Henderson and wife Alea, Kyran Wheeler and wife Ashlea, Christel Holland and husband Josh, Conner Wheeler and Coby Wheeler. The newest light of her life were her three great grandchildren; Ella Holland, Kendall Wheeler and Ayden Holland.
Eddie and Lucille married on December 18, 1965 where they lived in Wellington Texas for a few months. Starla was born in 1967 followed by Thurman in 1969. Eddie taught school and moved the family a few times before settling in Oklahoma City in 1972. In 1975 Lucille started an in-home daycare so she could afford to send her kids to private school. It was through this daycare that she touched, influenced and help raise hundreds of kids over a staggering 31 year career. Lucille was active in church life at Central Church of Christ in Moore and loved to cook meals and share recipes with all of her many church friends and family. You could always find Lucille in her kitchen making a special something for someone. It was her favorite thing to do and she did it well. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
Her funeral services are hosted my Advantage Funeral Services at 7720 S Pennsylvania Ave where a viewing will be held Saturday June 8th from 10 till 6pm.
Her funeral services will be Monday June 10th at 10:30am at the Central Church of Christ in Moore Oklahoma at 800 E. Main St, Moore, OK. 73153.
