Lois married Charles H. Smith on April 28, 1945. Together, they were proud parents of six children, twenty-one grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother, always going out of her way to help others. Lois was a devout woman who shared her faith in the Lord and Savior with everyone she met, encouraging her loved ones to do the same. She was a long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church in Choctaw.
Once her children were older, Lois was hired as a material handler at Tinker Air Force Base.
Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles, both parents, six brothers, two sisters, one daughter, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Lois took great joy in spending time in her flower garden and telling people about the different flowers she had there. She loved to watch the hummingbirds and butterflies enjoy the garden and the deer and turkey that would visit her. Lois was immensely loved by all who knew her and will be truly missed.
A visitation for Maida will be held Monday, March 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A funeral will occur Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73141. A burial will occur Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N Midwest Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73141.
