Marie Yvette Chase, 90 year-old resident of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away March 12, 2019 in Edmond, Oklahoma. Born July 19, 1928 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Alphonse Joseph O. Valois and Marie Rosa Blanche (Gagnon) Valois. Marie was a longtime Midwest City, Oklahoma resident. She was a great pastry chef working for the Midwest City School system for many years. Marie loved sewing, quilting, and especially gardening both vegetables and flowers. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, Eldon; one son, Eldon Chase; one daughter, Nancy Bryan; and five siblings. Survivors include five children, John Michael Chase of Cody, Wyoming; Donna and her husband Duke Dotson of New Braunfels, TX; Sally and her husband David Van Auken of Cody, Wyoming; Debra and her husband Fred Schwartz of California; and Susan Chase of Wellston, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one brother, John Paul Valois of Springfield, MA; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2019 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73141 with burial to follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
