

Martha Ruth Casey of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away on August 1, 2024. She was born in Bakersfield, California, on February 26, 1930, to parents Edwin George Waldow and Martha Augusta Waldow (Schrader). Martha attended school up until the 11th grade, then went off to marry the love of her life, Charles E. Casey, on December 24, 1946. They spent 49 years of marriage together until his passing on February 15, 1995.
She lived in Choctaw, Oklahoma, for 44 years, then relocated to Moore, Oklahoma, in 1993 and continued life there until her peaceful passing.
Some of her favorite music artists consisted of the Glenn Miller Band, the Irish Tenors, Daniel O'Donnell, and Charlie Pride. Martha could always count on her kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids to make her laugh.
Martha taught others the value of life, family, and a relationship with God. Most people would remember her as someone who had lots of life and love to share with others. She had lots of love for her family and her church, where she was a member at Good Shepherd Lutheran.
She is survived by her daughters Jacqueline Ruth Dusavitch (Michael) of Moore, Oklahoma; Connie Lynn Grant of Moore, Oklahoma; siblings Glenn Waldow (Ann) of California; Carl Waldow of Lake Mary, Florida; Robert Waldow (Irene) of Keystone Heights, Florida; Anna Wheeler of Anchorage, Alaska; Julie Beamon of Vinemont, Alabama; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as fur baby "Jaegar."
Martha is preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Casey; parents Edwin George Waldow and Martha Augusta Waldow; son Glenn Charles Casey; brother Albert Waldow (Ruth); sister Maude Bryce; Lola, Gene and Larry.

A memorial service for Martha will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 10:30 AM at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 700 N Air Depot Blvd, Midwest City, OK 73110.
