Mary Ella, known affectionately as Lolly by many, graduated from Blackwell High School in 1939 and attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Oklahoma. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Blackwell being a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
Mary Ella epitomized the fruit of the Spirit as detailed in I Cor. 13. She was loving, joyful, filled with peace, she was patient, kind, long suffering, and faithful. She did not return evil with evil and kept no record of wrongs.
With her phone and IPad, she kept informed on current events, loved her country, her president, the OKC Thuder and OSU sports.
One of her favorite hymns was "Brighten the Corner where You Are." That she did very, very well.
