Mickey was born May 21, 1954 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Thomas Langley and Cora Mae Scarbrough Langley.
He went on to graduate high school and then attended barber college. He opened his own barber shop in Mustang, Oklahoma and had built up quite the clientele for many years.
Mickey had most recently managed the kitchen at Ingrid’s restaurant. He kept things running smoothly for many, many years and enjoyed working alongside his nephew, Dean.
He lived most all of his life in Oklahoma and was a loyal OU Sooners fan. Mickey knew how to enjoy life and laugh. He knew to never take things too seriously or to be too serious himself either. He liked watching goofy dog videos on his phone and playing Slots! Mickey was a loyal and dedicated man who would help others in need.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents; wife Lori; son Kent Robert Langley and siblings: Dewey Dean Newton, Clay Wells, Richard Wooldridge and Janis Ward.
Mickey is survived by his siblings: Marvin Wooldridge of Oklahoma City, Frances Patty of Saginaw, Texas, Cyndi Bailey of Cookson, Oklahoma, Lana Parks of Canon City, Colorado and Joyce Taylor of Edmond, Oklahoma; twenty-six nieces and nephews, Mickey’s caregiver and nephew, Dean Newton and his constant companion, Oreo.
