Raymond Douglas Semple Jr.

Raymond Douglas Semple, Jr., 89, passed into the loving arms of Jesus on June 6, 2013. Raymond was born on July 11, 1923 in N. Attleborough, MA to Raymond Douglas and Justine (Peao) Semple, Sr. He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Air Force. Raymond was a member of the VFW, Moose Lodge E.A.A. and enjoyed repairing watches and building experimental air craft and gyrocopters.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Neata Ruby Semple; siblings, Bud, Bill and George Semple and Edna “Sis” Kenney. Survivors include his children, Aneata McBride (Frank), Linda Pollot (Gary), Ronald “Ronnie” Semple (Carol); sister, Patricia Shaleen (Loren); Grandchildren, Belinda Hudson, Rod Caine (Annja), Mark Caine (Angela), Melonie, and Petar Semple, Owen Duffy, Kevin, Allison and Benjamin Semple; and 23 great and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with military honors to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens.
