Richard Lee Jones

Richard “Rick” Lee Jones, 80, passed away Sept 15, 2011 at OU Medical Center. Rick was born in Weathers (Pittsburg Co.), Oklahoma, Aug 8, 1931 to Isaac and Winnie Baker Jones. Rick was a former resident of Moore, OK but was currently residing in Bethany, OK. Rick was pre-deceased by his parents, brothers Alvin, Edward, Joseph; sisters Marie and Ruby. Survivors include daughter Judy Tener and husband Greg; daughter Larenda Harjo; grandson Bryan Tener and wife Angela; granddaughters Melissa Tener and Laquita Harjo; great-granddaughter Shelbie Tener and great-grandsons Brady and Barrett Tener; brother Arthur and sister Ora Gordon and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Rick is also survived by special friend Gail Lanier. Services are 2:00 pm, Tues, Sept 20, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Bethany followed by interment at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery, OKC, OK. Family will receive friends Mon evening from 6-8p at Guardian West. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Bethany or charity of your choice.
