Robert L. “Ross” Davis, 78, of Oklahoma City, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, after an extended illness.
Ross was born September 12, 1947, in Paris. In 1961, his family moved to Oklahoma City, where he attended Frederick A. Douglass High School. Shortly afterward, he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country.
Throughout his life, Ross was known for his skilled labor and strong work ethic, much of which he learned through hands-on experience. He also worked for the Oklahoma City Utilities Department, where he dedicated years of service to his community.
Ross accepted Christ Jesus as his Savior and, later in life, grew into a deeper and more meaningful relationship with Him. His faith became an important source of strength and peace.
Ross will be remembered for his perseverance, dedication, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew him.
